Ryan Hood Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Ryan Hood Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to provide scholarships for young musicians in the YAM program. Ryan Hood left this world when he was 20. He was a brilliant young musician from Irmo who was passionate about helping those less fortunate. Ryan, gifted in both guitar and piano, was the son of Charles and Anita Hood, who have strong ties in the Pickens area. Charles grew up in Pickens and was a 1979 graduate of Pickens High School, and both are now part-time Pickens residents. This memorial musician fund will keep alive Ryan Hood's musical legacy and his passion for helping others. Please reference this fund when making a donation.
